Central Energy Storage Unit
PTOLEMAIDA BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS)
The Ptolemaida Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a pioneering project of the Eunice Energy Group. With an installed capacity of 250 MW / 1000 MWh, the plant adopts the latest technology in the field of energy storage. It offers the Greek electricity system new and flexible capacity, covering the power gaps resulting from the decommissioning of thermal installations.
