Large storage capacity seems to be key on decarbonizaion of economy. This must be solved in parallel to energy efficiency, demand electrification (electric vehicles, heat pumps as substitutes for conventional boilers) and RES integration. For the latter, large storage will help to optimize the use of renewable generation.
More information on how the capacity response time and predictive management of the stored energy should be included in the web.
